Some businesses need "just" a web site without e-commerce functionality: The Cobble Mountain Hammock Co., The Plantfurniture Company, Fairlee Marine, and Chapman's Store are representative here.
Sometimes it makes sense to create a whole bundle of web sites with the same topic in order to create entries for search engines and maximize traffic.
